Flybe to launch 27 new routes with its summer schedule

Flybe has just begun operating its 2015 summer schedule that features 187 routes – including 27 that are brand new.

The airline will be:

• Opening two new bases – Bournemouth and Cardiff
• Re-opening its Aberdeen base
• Starting flights out of London Stansted (flights to the Isle of Man took have already begun)

This will be the first summer its five London City routes have operated. Flybe recently announced plans to drop flights from the airport to Dublin in May.  This follows on from the dropping of the Inverness service and reduction in frequency to Exeter.

Summer sees the return of routes from Exeter and Southampton, whilst the airline has also boosted its schedule to and from regional France with nine new routes.

Flybe’s codeshare partners offer regional customers opportunities for seamless long haul travel. They will now be able to  connect to Asia, Canada and the US via its newest codeshare partners Cathay Pacific, Finnair and Aer Lingus when flights are booked either direct from those airlines’ websites or through a local travel agent.

The 27 new routes are:

• Birmingham – Bastia (Corsica), Biarritz, Deauville
• Bournemouth – Amsterdam, Biarritz, Deauville, Dublin, Glasgow, Jersey, Manchester, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Toulon
• Cardiff – Cork, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Faro, Glasgow, Milan, Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle
• Exeter – Deauville
• London Stansted – Isle of Man, Newcastle, Newquay
• Southampton – Bastia (Corsica), Milan Malpensa

Flybe offers free use of Club Workspace business clubs to London City passengers

Flybe have announced a new offer to coincide with their recently launched London City routes from Aberdeen, Belfast City, Edinburgh, Exeter, Dublin and Inverness.

Passengers travelling to London City will now gain free access to Club Workspace business clubs throughout London (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm). These feature high-speed business grade Wi-Fi with unlimited downloads/uploads and complimentary hot drinks (either from the café or the Club lounge, depending on location). Discounted meeting rooms will be also be available. Car parking will also be available at London Bridge (subject to availability and must be pre-booked).

A Club Workspace business club

There are eight of the business clubs and their locations are: Southbank, Chancery Lane, Chiswick, Clerkenwell, Islington, Kennington, London Bridge and Bethnal Green. To use the facility, passengers simply go to the reception and show their boarding pass or booking confirmation email to the Centre Manager. Passengers have 5 days from the time of inbound travel to redeem access and they can also invite up to 3 guests at any one time (for a maximum period of up to 2 hours) if holding a private meeting room meeting.
